Our annual Wheel-a-thon raises money to fund the much anticipated field trips for each school year. Children collection donations from family, friends and neighbors and ride their bikes for a designated time on their assigned track. An assembly is held after all donations have been turned in to celebrate the children’s participation and money raised!
Our parent volunteers are an integral part of making this event so successful. Setup begins at 5:00 am to get the campus ready and organized so our riders will be safe. During the event, water stations are refreshed on a regular basis and snacks are delivered after each class finishes their ride. Cleanup begins shortly after the last class participates and finally bikes are loaded into parent’s cars before the end of the day.
